SYNOD MISS POPPET 91792
Welsh Mountain Pony
SYNOD MISS POPPET

Poppet was kindly and very generously gifted to us in September 2004 by the Rosegarth Stud. Thank you to Ian and Andrea for allowing us to have such a fantastic mare.
Poppet has had two previous owners, the Rosegarth Stud and the Pinina Stud. She was bred by the world famous Synod Stud, bloodlines of which I very much admire. She is dam to the prolific winning stallion, Rosegarth Pioneer.
She is a substantial, up to height mare, loves cuddles, very vocal at feeding time and will live out her days here at Eskvalley.
She has been running out with Brysmith Silver Spirit and has been tested in foal.

CRABBIESDEN CANTIE FIER
(Cantie Fier is Olde Scots for merry friend)
CRABBIESDEN CANTIE FIER

Morven was purchased as a foal in 1999. I was lucky enough to be allowed to name her along with her brother, she certainly has lived up to her name!
She is Llanarth line bred, with a lot of the best Llanarth cobs throughout her bloodlines and stands at 15hh.
A substantial, lovely mare, with such a sweet nature she is dam to Eskvalley Starlight Express and Eskvalley Elegance.
She has been backed and is currently being brought on under saddle.

TANFIELD LEA’S TARANTELLA
Welsh Section D X Arab, Palomino/Dun

Awaiting Photo

Tara is my pony of a lifetime, without her I wouldn’t have been introduced to so many things and we have been to so many places and done so many things I once only dreamed of as a child.

Tara was purchased as a newly backed rising 5 year old on 24th April 1993.

In her competitive career she has done quite well, although she could sometimes be a bit of a hit or a miss at a show and her nerve would sometimes go! She still has her moments and likes too keep me on my toes!

Some of her placings under saddle:
1st and 5th Scottish Horse Show
6th at the Royal Highland Show
3rd at the BHS Jubilee Finals
1st Edinburgh Show, Gilmerton
2 firsts at Edinburgh JAC Show, Oatridge
2nd WHP, Dalkeith Show
Reserve Champion PB M&M, Haddington Show

She has done some show jumping:
2nd in the Horse class at Peebles Agricultural Show
in top 6 at Dalkeith Show, Muirmill International Equestrian Centre, Devon Equestrian Centre, to name a few

Over the last 12 years she has won a total of 56 firsts, 102 seconds and 44 thirds.

She owes me nothing and I owe her everything.

DURRIS CANDLELIGHT
DURRIS CANDLELIGHT

Lottie was purchased as a 3 year old with her colt foal, Crabbiesden Callan Fier, at foot. She was broken in by Caroline as a 4 year old.
She has done a bit of cross country and has been shown in hand with success.
She is also dam to Eskvalley Night Light.
Lottie is available for lease to show under saddle for the 2006 show season
As it is unlikely I will have the time due to not enough hours in the day! She is a definite top ridden prospect and should do well in Olympia and HOYS qualifiers.
She is a well schooled, responsive ride, however she requires an experienced confident rider!

Visitors most welcome by appointment.
